Daisy Shah 360 Degrees

Daisy Shah is a Bollywood actress and item girl. She has recently gained popularity through her first Bollywood debut ‘Jai Ho’, released 24th January, 2014. She played the lead role alongside renowned B-Town actor Salman Khan. Daisy is also known for her roles in Kannada movies. She got her first break through a Bollywood film called ‘Bloody Isshq’, wherein she performed an item song. 

Not many know that Daisy Shah was a part of the Salman Khan starrer, ‘Tere Naam’ as one of the background dancers in the song called’ Oh Jaana’ 

Daisy Shah was born in a Guajarati family, in Sion, Mumbai, where she was also brought-up. In her 10th grade, she achieved title of Miss Photogenic in a local contest called ‘Ms Dombivli’. She has completed her graduation through Khalsa College in Mumbai, in the field of Arts. For three years, she worked as a Dance Assistant to renowned choreographer ‘Ganesh Acharya’.

Daisy has played a pivot role in original version of ‘Bodyguard’; a 2011 Bollywood hit starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.  The original Kannada version has ‘Jaggesh’ as the lead actor co-starring Daisy Shah.  Apart from Kannada film industry, she has also worked in various Tamil films.

Daisy Shah - Boyfriend

According to B-Town gossip, Daisy Shah is seemingly dating her choreographer ‘Ganesh Acharya’. It is believed that the shared relationship between the two is not so secluded and almost entire film industry has a clue about the connection. It is also alleged that Daisy’s close relations with Acharya is also the reason for his divorce. 

Her equation with Salman Khan

Daisy apparently officially met Salman Khan many times, even before the ‘Jai Ho’ venture, while assisting ‘Ganesh Acharya’. It is said that Salman also offered Daisy a supporting role in his 2011 hit Bodyguard, which she hesitantly denied maintaining posture. However, later when ‘Jai Ho’ was in pipeline, Salman and Sohail signed her for lead actress role in the movie. Salman and Daisy share a strong bonding. Daisy explains that Salman is a kind and amazing person and when it comes to praise him, she feels shortage of words. She sees him as her mentor and accredits him for her position and success. When asked about Salman she says, “It's always a dream for everyone to work with Salman and I had an opportunity to work with him. He is very supportive and very protective about his co-stars. I would like to romance with Salman again and again in all my films”.

Daisy Shah in Jai Ho

Daisy Shah is a model, dancer and actress who debuted in ‘Jai Ho’ alongside Salman Khan. The movie has emerged as a semi-hit and has crossed the Rs.100 crore mark. Daisy played a role of Guajarati, boisterous girl, full of life, who is a happy-go-lucky girl. ‘Jai Ho’ is a ‘masala =-movie’, which is packed with everything ranging from emotions to comedy, romance to action.  She has a decent grip on acting but she has an extra edge with dancing.  Apart from her appearance in ‘Jai Ho’, Daisy will also be seen in an upcoming movie called ‘Soda’ in a special appearance, while her other project called ‘Akramana’, a Kannada film, is in pipeline.
